While we strive to deliver accurate, timely, and useful content and tools, the healthcare regulatory environment is complex, frequently changing, and highly fact-specific.

Use of this Platform, website, or services does not create an attorney-client relationship, a provider-patient relationship, or any other professional relationship beyond the service engagement expressly agreed to in writing.

Not Legal Advice

Nothing on this website, within the Inspired Compliance platform, or provided through any Healthcare Inspired service constitutes legal advice. This includes but is not limited to:

The Inspired Compliance platform addresses healthcare administrative compliance — the operational, regulatory, and billing compliance obligations of healthcare organizations. It does not provide clinical guidance, diagnostic information, treatment recommendations, or any other medical advice for the care of individual patients.

Nothing on this Platform should be used to make or influence clinical decisions about patient care. Clinical decisions must be made by qualified, licensed healthcare providers based on the specific clinical facts of individual patients.

Medical coding guidance provided through the Platform and consulting services reflects general coding principles and guidelines as published by the American Medical Association (AMA), CMS, and applicable coding authorities. Coding recommendations are inherently fact-specific and must be applied by trained coders with full knowledge of the clinical documentation. No Regulatory Guarantee

Use of the Inspired Compliance platform does not guarantee that your organization is compliant with any applicable law, regulation, payer contract, or accreditation standard, including but not limited to:

• HIPAA Privacy Rule and Security Rule
• HITECH Act requirements
• CMS Conditions of Participation or Conditions for Coverage
• OIG Compliance Program Guidance
• The False Claims Act and related anti-fraud statutes
• The Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law
• State healthcare practice acts, licensure laws, and privacy statutes
• Joint Commission, AAAHC, or other accreditation body standards

Compliance is a continuous process that requires ongoing attention by qualified organizational leadership. The Platform provides tools, templates, training resources, and — where subscribed — expert support to assist your compliance program. However, the effectiveness of any compliance program depends on how it is implemented, monitored, and enforced within your specific organization.

Platform Content

The Inspired Compliance platform includes policy templates, training modules, risk assessment tools, audit checklists, and compliance program resources. Regarding this content:

• Templates are starting points, not finished products. Policy templates must be reviewed, customized, and approved by your organization's leadership, legal counsel, and compliance officer before adoption. Generic templates cannot account for the specific circumstances, geography, specialty, payer mix, or risk profile of your organization.
• Training content reflects generally accepted principles based on published regulatory guidance, coding guidelines, and professional standards as of the content development date. Healthcare regulations change; we make reasonable efforts to update content, but we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.
• Coding and audit references are based on CPT®, ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCPCS, and CMS guidelines as published. CPT® is a registered trademark of the American Medical Association. Use of CPT® codes is subject to AMA licensing requirements.
• Risk scores and findings generated by Platform tools are estimates based on the information you provide. They are intended to highlight areas for further review, not to provide definitive assessments of legal or regulatory risk.

Consulting Disclaimer

Healthcare Inspired provides access to independent consultants with expertise in medical coding, billing, auditing, credentialing, revenue cycle management, and compliance program development. Regarding consulting services:

• Consultants are independent professionals sharing specialized knowledge. Their recommendations are professional opinions based on the information provided to them and their interpretation of applicable guidelines and regulations at the time of the engagement.
• Consulting deliverables are not legal opinions and should not be used as the sole basis for major operational, financial, or strategic decisions without independent review by qualified leadership and, where appropriate, legal counsel.
• Audit findings and coding reviews represent a sample-based assessment. They are not a guarantee that all claims or coding practices outside the reviewed sample are accurate or compliant.
• Revenue cycle and billing recommendations are general recommendations. Implementation is the responsibility of your organization, and actual results will depend on many factors outside HCI's control, including payer-specific policies, staff execution, and documentation practices.
• Credentialing support assists with organizing information and navigating the credentialing process. Healthcare Inspired does not make credentialing decisions and does not guarantee approval by any payer, hospital, or health system.

Training Content Disclaimer

Training content made available through the Platform, including virtual workshops, on-demand modules, and educational materials, is developed by Healthcare Inspired staff and contributing independent consultants to reflect generally accepted compliance and clinical administrative practices.

• Training content is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for formal credentialing, professional certification, or continuing education required by licensure boards or certification bodies.
• Completion of training through the Platform does not confer any professional license, certification, or credential unless explicitly partnered with a recognized credentialing organization and stated as such.
• Training content may not reflect the most recent regulatory changes at the time of access. Learners are encouraged to verify regulatory requirements with primary sources (e.g., CMS.gov, HHS.gov, AMA, payer websites) before making operational decisions.
• Training hours documented within the Platform are for internal organizational record-keeping. Acceptance of such documentation for external CE credit purposes is at the sole discretion of the relevant certifying or licensing body.

HEALTHCARE INSPIRED EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
• ANY WARRANTY THAT THE PLATFORM WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OR THAT USE OF THE PLATFORM WILL ENSURE REGULATORY COMPLIANCE.
• ANY WARRANTY THAT PLATFORM CONTENT IS COMPLETE, ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR FREE FROM ERRORS.
• ANY WARRANTY THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

• LOSSES ARISING FROM REGULATORY INVESTIGATIONS, AUDITS, PENALTIES, OR ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS.
• CLAIM DENIALS, RECOUPMENTS, OR OVERPAYMENT DEMANDS FROM PAYERS OR GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS.
• LOSSES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON PLATFORM CONTENT, TRAINING MATERIALS, OR CONSULTING RECOMMENDATIONS.
• LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL.

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE CLAIM IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF HEALTHCARE INSPIRED HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Healthcare Inspired's total aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Platform, services, or content shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Healthcare Inspired in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00), whichever is greater.
